As in past years you have, sir, kindly allowed mo, through your columns, to make an appeal, I seek again your kindly help in making known our great needs. Yes, our needs are groat, and can only bo mot by the kindness of those willing to send thoir gifts. We have the poor sick to help, _ and the families of men who arq in prison, and we would also like to give tho patients in tho mental a little trea t. Remember, this appeal is made on behalf of thoso who ore in poor circumstances through no fault of their own. Wo appeal with confidence that a ready response will bo forthcoming to assist us in our great work among the genuine poor. Remember the fact that “ Inasmuch aa yo did it unto tho least of them yo have done in unto Mo.” Send your Christmas gift to F. G. Gumming, 250 King street, Dunedin. December 7, 1921.
