CATHEDRAL ORGAN RECITALS.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —The excellent organ recitals given by Dr J. C. Bradshaw on the cathedral organ were a rare musical treat. The Dean and Chapter of the cathedral _a.ro to be commended upon having made it possible for church people and the public generally to hear Dr Bradshaw play on that magnificent instrument. May I, as an Anglican, point out that some men and a Iso . women do not realise that the cathedral is a building consecrated to tho service and glory of God, and not a concert hall ? Some women were present without their heads covered. I would suggest their perusal of St. Paul’s injunction in his Ist Epistle to the Corinthians, ch. xi.—l am, etc., Chukotka*. September 10.
