'Another Hohenzollern scandal caused a sensation in the German . newspapers. Prince Leopold of Prussia, uncle.of the ex-Kaiser, and one of the wealthiest Hohenzollerns before the revolution, has been living at Lugano, in Switzerland, whither he escaped with a considerable store of jewellery. When in Switzerland- he pawned the jewels for half a million Swiss francs. The Prussian Ministry of Finance promptly sent a representative to Switzerland and repurchased tire jewels. An inquiry has now been ordered to discover how the Prince smuggled the property out of Germany. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
