INCENDIARISM AT SCHOOL. An attempt to burn down the Mosgiel District Hugh School was made late on Saturday evening, but the prompt arrival of the brigade prevented much damage being done, tho estimate being £SO. The outbreak occurred in the outer wall near one of the main passage doors, and circumstances point undoubtedly to incendiarism.
