From these, facts is appears that Dr Cone's ambitious expedition has developed into a mere reconnaissance party for exploring Graham's Laud. [The. party left London at the end of (September on a two years’ trip to the Antarctic legions, where, on behalf of the British -Imperial Antarctic Expedition, they will carry out a survey and cironninavigalinn of the western const of the Weddell Sea- and Graham’s Land. The expedition, which is of a purely scientific character, is headed by Dr John L. Cope, F.R.G.S., who, in .addition to “being in command, will act as biologist.
