CALEDONIAN CLUB. Tlifi| annual report states that the past season has been one -of the most successful in the dub’s history. The. balance-sheet shows that from a, financial point of view ihe dub was never in a more satisfactory position, mainly owing fo the energy of 1 lie treasurer (Air R. C. Procter), who reduced the outstanding dues to an absolute minimum. Tho billiard table also proved a source of revenue, besides providing entertainment for tho members. Hie club maintained its high standard of play during the season, and again succeeded in carrying off the interclub banner, also securing third place in the four-rink championship : whilst Mr -I. Scott captured tho coveted honor of champion of champions. Tim dub competitions were productive of many excibng finishes, and it i.s gratifying to notice that amongst, the prize-winners are two of the oldest members of the club —Alo-srs ,1. Ogg and It. T. Wheeler. The list also proves that our younger players have proim-d bv the instruction and practice a-lfordid by the assistance of older members, combined with an excellent given. Jones), in moving the- adoption of the ivrorr and balance-sheet, congratulated the members ■on the. largo attendance, Tfe referred to tho good position of the club as disclosed by ihe halanco-shvct, congratulated the greenkoeper IMr G-illespi«)_ on his uirk, and Messrs Aintman and Tilhnrrj on their rinks’ performances at tho Easter tournament. it also gave him great pleasure to present a cup for rink play.
