AT EVERYBODY’S

A now programme at Everybody’s is headed by Alice Brady in ‘"Tho Rodhead.’ The story snows how Matthew Thurlow had been friendly with Dazio for several months. One night after she iiad finished working J at tho restaurant, where she is star entertainer, she comes over to the table whore Matthew and several of his friends are seated. One of Matt’s

friends makes a bet that Matt will never marry Dazie. Matt takes him up, and as Roily Card, a justice of the peace and a friend of his, is present at the time, he wastes no time in winning the bet. The next morning both Dazio and Matt realise what fools they have been. Matt does not care a penny for her, and is not going to live with her. She takes him out to a cheap restaurant to dine, and after getting him drunk takes him to a small apartment she lias rented, determined to make a man of him. Meanwhile Matt’s undo has hoard of his marriage and cuts off his allowance. Matt seeks for work; there being no alternative. He obtains work in an automobile house, and ascends the ladder quickly until ho holds a lucrative position and has become a great asset to the firm. All this time he lias been living with Dade, and she has been mothering and loving him, while ho has spoken to her only when necessary. One day Matt sees his wife in a restaurant with his old friend Roily. He discovers how much Dazio means to him and how dearly he loves her. His uncle visits him that day, and congratulates him on tho success lie has made. Ho tells Matt that it is not too late, and that if he will divorce his wife he will reinstate him in his good graces. Matt I refuses to leave his wife, and tells her 1 that it is only his pride that has kept I him ii-'uii owining up to his love fori her. The supports are good.
