POSTAL AND TELEGRAPH BRANCHES. IPss UiansD Paons Amogiatioh.l AUCKLAND, April 28. “Tho Postal and Telegraph revenue for tho Dominion for tho year ended March 31, 1921, totalled £2,448,673,” stated tho I’oMmaster-General. “Tho revenue for tho previous financial year amounted to £2,106,995, the increase for the year just ended being £541,678, The sale of stamps last year realised £1,195,529, compared with £1,013,025 the previous year. The postal revenue was £1,264,059—an increase of £196,369. Tho te.lcgT.aph receipts amount to £671,084, being £67,865 in excess of the previous year. The rentals from telephones reached £502,649 —•an increase of £83,552. The figures under all headings of Post Cilice Savings Bank and money order business show inctea.w.xs over those for 1919-20. Savings Bank deposits increased by over £6,000,000, but tho withdrawals show more than a corresponding increase.”
