Court Robin Hood hold Us annual social yesterday evening, and it was very successful, Tbe visitors from the city included C.R. Bra. TV. Saunders (King Edward's Pride')) C.R. Bro. .1. Bowloy (Court Pride of the. Leith), and several officers of the Juvenile Executive Council. The local friendly societies were officially represented by Bros. W. D. Campbell, IbN.G. (Manchester Unitv), H. Reeves, I).1C (Hnml.s), and A. Albertson, S (Hibernians). Prior to the supper adjournment C.R. Bro. H. Cunningham said that Court Robin Hood wished to present their popular .secretary (Bro. T, Armstrong) .with a marble clock as a wedding present, and called on R.C.R. Bro. J. Mill to make the presentation on behalf of the court. Bro. Mill complied, stating that it afforded him great pleasure indeed to present Bro. Armstrong with the token of the esteem in which ho was held by his fellow-members. Tho heartiest good wishes for Bro. and Mrs Armstrong accompanied the gift. In responding tho recipient expressed ms appreciation of tho present and the good wishes accompanying it.
