Under the new Housing Act regulations it is provided that every worker _ who desires to acquire a worker’s dwelling shall malic application to the Housing Board on a prescribed form, arid a declaration in support of his application. Application ie to be accompanied by £l. livery applicant shall, when he agrees to purchase a dwellin'- under the conditions specified bv the Housing Superintendent, enter into ah agreement of purchase, and shall pay to the superintendent the remaining portion of the deposit required in accordance with (ho Act. Should the applicant desire to withdraw bis application at any time, the whole or any part of the* deposit, paid by him mav. at the discretion of the board, be, refunded. Provision is made for the sale, transfer, assignment, lease, mortgage, or other disposition of the whole of the purchaser's interest in the dwelling sublet to the consent of the Housing Board.
