PICTURE THEATRES AND PRICES.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —As one. who visits the Octagon Theatre every Friday night, I quite agree with “Keep A way’s ” letter in to-night’s ‘Star.’ I couldn't get a scat on Friday night, so I wont on Saturday night, ami 1 got a reserved seat for 2s 7d, where I could see the screen from a side view. I don’t see why the price of admission should jump up so much as it did on Saturday night; but, of course, wc are getting used to this sort of thing lately. Another thing I would like, to know is which are the “ front seats.” .Some weeks “front seats” '/(according to the programme) extend a good distance from the orchestra, and some weeks (according to the programme) the “front seats” are almost an the orchestra. The Octagon is not the only olfendor in tins respect. In fact, they all do it more or less.—-I am, etc., Reserved Seat. April 14.
