It is indicated that the new JapaneseAmerican treaty may negative the recenfcly-jjpssed Galifornian anti-Japanese laws, but it is believed that the same result may be achieved by tho laws prohibitintr the ownership of land in California by aliens. This is expected to produce dissatisfaction on the part of many foreign interests who control oil lands and other properties.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
