REALART CONCERT, COMPANY

On Christmas Day, at O’Brien’s Empire, the Realart Concert Company presented a change of programme that was enjoyed and appreciated by a very large audience. Mr Wood and Miss Glover sang the ‘ Miserere ’ from ‘it Trovatore,’ the harp accompaniment being played by Signor Gerbasi and Miss Clare Years. Mr Wood’s solo items, which were very well rendered, were ‘La Palcma,’ ‘ The Wandering Minstrel,’ and ‘ Sally Horner ’; Miss Glover’s selections included ‘ The Valley of Laughter ’; Signor Gerbasi and Miss Clare Years rendered on the Irish harp and the grand harp ‘The Old Folks at Home ’ and ‘ Auld Lang Syne ’; and Miss Glover and Mr Wood sang very acceptably ‘ The Harp That Ones Through Tara’s Halls,’ ‘ Sing, Birds, on the Wing,’ and ‘l’m in Heaven W r hen I’m in My Mother’s Arms.’ On the picture programme is ‘The Spite Bride,’ featuring Olive Thomas.
