' The ‘Daily Chronicle’ Milan corre-. spondent states that a furious gale in the Lower Adriatic caused an immense fail of rock from a mountain-top, which overwhelmed the harbor of Saseno Island, blocking it up and burying many bilildings and scores of sleeping inmates, ' The number of victims is unknown, but will include many men of the Italian navy, of whose dead bodies already twenty , have been recovered.—A. and N.Z.
