GRAND AND PLAZA. Patrons of the Grand and Plaza arc ..assured of a treat in' the pictures nowshowing at these houses. The inimitable Georgo Walsh plays the chief part in ‘A Manhattan Knight,’ a new mystery drama, and Peggy Hyland stars in ‘The Web of Chance,’ a comedy-drama of merit. Other pictures support the main items. KING’S. _ ‘ Who Cares?’ is the title of the big picture at the King’s. The story is by Cosmo Hamilton, and the chief role is enacted by Constance Talmadge. The story concerns a young wife out for a good time, who wakes up when she finds her husband on the same errand. The supports are good. OCTAGON. ‘Myles Calthorpe, 1.D.8.,’ heads the bill at the Octagon. It is a South African story of the diamond fields, and the chief part is taken by Robert Warwick. Good supports will bg shown. ‘ THE BEST OF LUCK.’ Kathryn Adams, a charming young actress, has the feminine lead in ‘ The Best of Luck,’ the Drury Lane melodrama which will be screened at the Grand and Plaza on Friday. Miss Adams enacts the role played by‘Madge Titheradge in the original stage production at the Theatre Royal in London. Bay C. Smallwood directed the drama, which was adapted by A. S. Le Vino from the play by Henry Hamilton and the late Cecil Raleigh. Miss Adams has played important parts with Pearl White, Alma Rubens, and Marguerite Clark. She was leading woman for Edmund Breese in * The Shooting of Dan M‘Grew.’ Two years ago, when John Barrymore started in ‘Raffles,’ she portrayed the lady love o? that gentleman crook.
