In the forthcoming Note to Great Britain it is expected that the United states will reiterate her former protest ■concerning the unequality of the alleged agreement- between Britain and Franco whereby the latter is to hold a virtual monopoly over the oil and mineral resources of Mesopotamia and Asia Minor. —A. and N.Z.
