CARTER, THE MAGICIAN
Another highly enjoyable entertainment was provided last evening by Carter the magician and illusionist, ably assisted by his company. Carter's work was carried out with a finish anS precision which stamps him as one of the cleverest artists of his kind who has ever appeared here lhe stage settings are spectacular and ornate, and give charm to the varied illusions which quickly follow each other throughout the evening. The demonstration given by Miss Maxwell, who answered written questions and named the writers, was entertaining and clever The performance will be repeated this evening, and there will be a matinee nfc 2.30 p.m. to-morrow in addition to the evening entertainment.
