The steamer Trewellard is now expected to leave Dunedin to-morrow afternoon for Melbourne and Adelaide to discharge the remainder of her cargo from Now York. The Kmi left New Plymouth yesterday atternoon for Westport, where she will load coal for Oaniaru and Dunedin. The Moan a is to leave Wellington today for Sydney and Hobart. The Kaiapoi is expected to leave Adelaide about the end of this week for Auckland. The Kanna left Westport yesterday morning with a full cargo of cogl for discharge at Auckland. The Atna, which arrived at Sydney at 8 -a.m. on Tuesday from Auckland, is to sail to-morrow afternoon for Fiji. She will subsequently load in the Fiii Group for Auckland. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion "steamer Karamea is to leave Wellington on October 20 for Nelson and Picton to load for tho United Kingdom. She will return to Wellington to complete loading, -and. will leave that port about November 2 for London via Panama, Tho Shaw-Savill steamer Mahia is due at Wellington about October 50 from Australian ports. She will afterwards go to Tiniaru and Lyttelton to load for England, and will be despatched from the Canterbury port about November" 30 for London via Panama,

Tiie British-India steamer Garada. which left Calcutta on September 14 for Australian and New Zealand ports, is duo at Auckland about the end of October. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer Mamari is to leave Wellington to-morrow for New Plymouth to discharge tiro balance of her general cargo from England. She will load at New Plymouth, Wanganui, and Wellington, and will he despatched from the latter port about November 5 for London via Panama. Tho steamer Nitokris, 6,150 tons, has been chartered to load phosphates at Safaga ior New Zealand. The Shropshire is due in New Zealand waters shortly to load for the United Kingdom. The Show, Savill, and Albion liner Matatna is to leave Wellington to-day for Auckland to complete loading for New Lurk and Boston. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion .Company announce tnat the liner Wei man a will sail from Wellington at daybreak on Sunday for London via Panama, The Fiji Government steamer Ranadi | arrived at Auckland on Sunday morning last from Fiji'. She met with fairly heavy weather, but did the trip in four and three-quarter days. The steamer will undergo an extensive overhaul at Auckland, which, is expected to occupy over three months.' THE FERRY SERVICE. The Wah! ne arrived at Lyttelton at 7.15 e.m. to-day from Wellington, and mails and passengers,., connected with the first express ,f or the south.

SUPERPHOSPHATES FROM JAPANW The Japanese steamer Toyo Mara ar j rived at Tiniaru yesterday morning from Hakodate _ (one of the treaty ports of Japan) -with a full cargo of Kuperphos- 1 phatea. The vessel, which called at Newcastle en route for bunker coal, will afterwards go to Bluff to complete discharge. THE PORT KEMBLA. i Cable advice lias been received, by the C. and D. .Line that the Port Kembla arrived at Melbourne on October 9 front! London. The vessel proceeds thence to Hobart, Sydney, Auckland, Napier, and Wellington. S!ie is due at Auckland about November 8, and. at Wellington about November 22. MAWATTA FOR NEW ZEALAND TRADE. The well-known steamer Mawatta has - (says an exchange) been taken up on a x2-nionths’ time charter by the Patrick Steamship Company, Ltd. It is understood she will be employed in the New /.caland trade.. KARORT TO LEAVE SYDNEY. The Union Cmpany advise that the Karon. is to leave Sydney this week with general and transhipment cargo for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff.
