MORNINGTON PRESBYTERIANS

ANNUAL MEETING, Hie 40th annual meeting of the members of the Mornington Presbyterian Church was held in the church hall last evening. The Rev. W. Trotter presided. Apologies for absence were received from Professor Dickie and Mr W. Henderson (session clerk). The session report was presented by Mr Trotter on behalf of Mr Henderson, and the financial statement by Mr J. H. Mercer (treasurer). This showed a credit balance of £4 12s Id. The congregation had responded loyally and liberally to every call made upon them. Ordinary collections exceeded those of the. previous year by £55 9s 4d, the Eustentation fund showed an increase of £SB _ss 3d, and the total receipts for missions amounted to £73 17s 2d more than last years receipts. An address was given by the Rev. J. Kilpatrick, and items were given by tbe choir, Mr Thomson, Miss K. M'Callum, Sir Haig, and Mr Renton.
