UNIVERSITY MUSICAL SOCIETY
Lovers of music who journey to His Majesty’s on Saturday night are promised a well-chosen musical programme. There was a time when the Allen Hall was quite sufficient to accommodate the patrons of the society, but now the more extensive accommodation of the Theatre is necessary to house all those who wish to attend its concerts. Among other items we notice Faning’s ‘ Vagabonds ’ and Elgar’s ‘ Snow.’ A specially fine number should result from the waltz song ‘Light as Air,’ from ‘ Faust.’ The box plan is at Begg’s.
