CONCERT AT ROSS HOME
Ono of the most enjoyable concerts held at Boss Home was given .by the "Grand Concert Party last evening. The hall was crowded by a very appreciative audience. Items were rendered by the following, each one being heartily encored bongs—Mrs Mathewfion, Misses M \ T icol E. M. Perry, Messrs A. J. Parker, g! lopp, H. JSewall, G. Bennet; recitations —.diss M. Powell, -Mr Andrews; duet, Messrs G. Bennet and H. Xewall; pianoforte selection, Miss D. Matbewson ; violin solo, Mr W. Common. Miss D. Mathewson proved an efficient accompanist. "Paul Reno," the talking comedy juggler delighted all with his performance, creating no end of amusement. The chairman (Mr Fleming) conveyed to Mr Bennet, who organised the concert, and also to the performers;- the grateful thanks of everyone at Ross Home for the very bright and happy evening which had been given, and expressed the wish that the party would soon return. Cheers were given by the audience, and the singing of the National Anthem brought a pleasant evenin"- to a close.
