OKARITOS TIMBER, RICHES. _ Big developments are being undertaken m connection with the forest wealth of .South West-land. With the great shortage of timber for all purposes, it becomes a paramount duty to bring timber from our forests to build homes and for industrial expaasion in everv direction. Bv doing so those responsible will reap a profitable financial reward, for timber prices are constantly rising as the world's timber shortage becomes more severe. Great interest is being evinced in The Great Western Timber Company, Ltd.. a new company being formed to operate timber milk at the port of Okarito, South \\ estland. The company have secured rights over 10,000 acres, and expect to be producing six million feet of timber after 12 months' working. At that rate the property will yield timber for 50 vears.
