At 9.45 p.ni. yesterday the City Fire Brigade received a call to the shop of Mr T. P. Williamson, jeweller. Princes street, and on arriva found that a hole had been burnt in the floor of the premires by a tin of hot ashes. The brigade dealt quickly with the outbreak, and no further damage was done. ‘
