The Polish -withdrawal from the Ukraine continues, according to plan. Polish sources confirm the Bolshevik recapture of Kieff. The coup was carried out »y a Bolshevik cavalry corns, which, penetrated to Jitomir, where it "remained a few,hours, burning the hospital and killing '6OO Polish wounded, besides doctors and nurses. The Poles maintain that the holding of Kieff constituted a danger to the Polish troops. The military significance of the coup is far less than the political.
