It was decided during the coming session to call upon tha Prime Minister to redeem the promise made by him to the last conference that the Act will remain in operation -until overy returned soldier is settled on the land. * It was resolved, farther, to a-sk all local associations to place their case before their district members of Parliament: also, that the Prime Minister and the Minister of Lands be invited to attend a conference, failing which the conference will wait on them with the object of obtaining satisfaction.
