DRAWING ON HIS IMAGINATION. CHRISTCHURCH, June 3. "Accommodation is often better in fiftl. and sixth class places in the Dominion than in Christchurch," remarked Mr M'Carthy, S.M., at yesterday's meeting of the Christchurch Licensing Bench. This statement was challenged by Mr W. Hoban, who etated that he had just come back from Sydney, where accommodation was far worse than it was here. Mr M'Carthy : " Places" like Dannevirke are very much better off for accommodation than Christchurch."
