__ SUGGESTED PUBLIC HOLIDAY. [Peb United Pribs Association.} WELLINGTON, June 3, When the. B.S.A. deputation waited on the Prime Minister to-day Dr Boxer asked that Anzao Day be declared a statutory holiday. Mr Maesoy said he had always been in favor of setting aside a day for the commemoration of the victory of 1919 and the glorious deeds of the New Zealanders in the war. It was only a question of choosing the day. If Anzac Day were suitable he would be quite agreeable to that day being chosen.
