OPPOSED BY P. AND T. OFFICERS. At z largely attended meeting of the local branch of tho New Zealand Post .and Telegraph Offlcers' Association, hold on Tuesday evening, the following resolutions wero unanimously carried: 1. That delegates to forthcoming conference be instructed to oppose any suggestion of reversion to <3ommis6ioner control. 2. That delegates bo siven- a free hand rs "consequential adjustments." 3. That in the event of a complete breakdown in the present negotiations, delegates be instructed to advocate the immediate taking of a eccr-cfc ballot, and that before drastic action is taken the majority to be at least three-fifths of total membership.
