IN MEMORIAM, ATHFD3LD.—In Moving remembrance of Gurrner David Athfield, who died of wounds received somewhere in France on 3rd June, 1917. With aching hearts we shook h{s hand, Tears glistening in our eyesj We wished him luck, but never thought It was our last good-bye. Far away from those who loved him Soldiers gently laid him to rest; In a faraway grave he is sleeping—« One of the bravest and best. —lnserted by his loving father, mother. sisters, and brothers.
