DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE

The annual meeting of shareholders in the Dunedin Stock Exchange Proprietary was held yesterday at the office, Reid's Buildings, "Mr E. !R. Smith (chairman of directors) presiding over a good attendance. In moving the adoption of tho report and balance-sheet, tho Chairman fully traversed the year's working and the general position of the company. Mr Solomon seconded the motion, which was carried. The report adopted provided for the payment of a dividend at the rate of 10 per cent, per annum, and a bonus of 2 per cent. Mr C. Russell Smith was re-elected a director, and Mr C. H. Stafham was reappointed auditor. On the motion of Mr John Mill, a hearty vote of thanks to tho directors was carried by acclamation.
