WORKERS' DWELLINGS
[Pee United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, May 29. From a statement bv Sir \V. H. Hurries, Minister of Labor, it appears that nine dwellings were completed during the year, and that 197 are in course of erection.. Tenders have been received for 127, and 6G9 more are in contemplation. So far Ihc chief difficulty has not been labor but material*. With regard to present contracts builders are being assisted with materials, but in future works tho contractors, it is hoped, will find timbers, 3tc.
