DORREEN MISSION
The Dorrsen mission, now being h-ld in the Tabernacle, was again well attended last _ evening. Mr A. 0. Crisp led the singing, and Miss K. Sinclair was the soloist. Mr Don-eon's subject was 'Prayer.' There w?re, he Raid. &?ven dhiinet' elements that should be found in prayer. They were adoration, thanksgiving, repentance, resolution, pstition, intercession, and submission. Prayer was necessary to spiritual health. David said: "Evening and morning and at noon wi«l I prav and cry aloud,, and He shall hear my voice"and the Apostle Paul, sneaking to his brethren, .said: "Prav for us, ""that the word of the Lord mar run and be glorified." More things were wrought by praver than the world "dreamt of, And, said Mr Dorroen. "if von believe in prayer practise it: pray without ceasing." He dwelt upon those for whom praver should bo offered, and the futility' of mere repetition of phra?e3 or' sentences. Prayer must be sincere, the netitionar st"vdincr uncn the promises of' Christ. "Remember," the speaker continued, "that when you prrvv, if you havy> a sin that you are not goine to confess to God, Ho will not hear. Let not iniquity separate you from the Heavenly Father." 1 Chriat sa.id : "If ye abide in Me and My words abide in you, ye shall ask whatsoever ye will and it shall be given unto you." Here was the secret cf power, the dynamo of spiritual life.
