DEFENCE club. ° Une ( d i n De r fenc ® Rifle Club fired the finul competition for Messrs Bain. Proudfoot, and Speight’s prizes on Saturday. Twenty-one men competed. This was the final match of the season, and settled the champ,onship. Highest scores, with th* aggregates:—
KIWI DEFENCE CLUB. The third competition for prizes .presented by the Mayor was fired on Saturday aftern°oii. The club’s championship was also decided. It resulted in Rifleman Gilhck being an easy winner. He holds the silver shield for one year. A silver cup for aggregate score pms handicap was won bv ftifleman M Farlane.
