At a record annual meeting of. the Dunedin branch of the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Officers* Association held last night the following resolutions were carried unanimously : "That the Executive Committee be asked to demand an immediate payment of the bonus,, and that members who were absent with the Expeditionary Forces be included." "That this meeting express discontent, with the present scale of salaries, and ask that ali-round increased remuneration be granted immediately in order to cope with the increasing and alarming disparity between the presentday salaries and their purchasing power." " That, £240 be accepted as the basic living wage- for a, married officer of the department."
