N.Z.E.F. MASONIC ASSOCIATION
A meeting of the Dunedin branch was held in the Masonic Hall, Moray place, on Saturday evening, with a good attendof brethren. The enthusiastic manner in which the brethren attended to the business of the evening augin's well for the future of this branch. Worshipful Bro. . Oxley delivered an address on ‘ Charity,’’and this was listened to with closest attention. The interpretation and instruction conveyed in his address were most helpful. The resignation of Wor. Anderson from the executive was received with regret. Bro. Anderson having removed to Nelson., Wor. Bro. D. White, one of the founders of the association in Prance, was elected a member of the executive. A considerable discussion on the question of membership followed, and the meeting waa of the unanimous opinion that the time was opportune for a Dominion conference of representatives from the various branches to deal with tile important business that nas f -;it her in? ’’P', and also to lay good anti true foundations for the future development of the association in New Zealand An invitation from the Installed Matters’ Dodge was accepted. After the business of the evening an adjournment was made for Supper, and loyal toasts were honored These meetings form opportunities faiths brethren to renew former pleasant relationships, and to talk over places and brethren they have seen or net while on the great business of the Empire. Several new members were enrolled, and the branch may claim to be an enthusiastic one._ Suggestions were made for the formation of a branch library, official visits to lodges, and lectures for future meetings.
