LATE SHIPPING
A steamer, believed to be the Whangape, from Auckland, was‘--reported to be 16 miles off the Herds at 1.30 p m. to-day. The Nokatay, from New York and; Lyttelton, is expected to reach port this evening. She will berth at the Victoria wharf to discharge the local portion of her general ca*go. . 4ho Stella is expected to arrive at any lime no-.v from the Campbell Islands. . The vessel had not been reported from the Heads up to a late .-hour this afternoon. . The Tarawera is expected to leave Wellington to-night for Sydney and Newcastle. She will load at those ports next week for Bluff and Dunedin. VESSELS IN WIRELESS CALL. The following steamers should be within range of the undermentioned wireless stations to-night ; —Awanui : Rokanoa (Newcastle to Auckland). Auckland i Gpawa (Liverpool to Auckland), Arahura. Wellington : Waitomo (Newcastle to Wellington), Tarawera (Wellington to Sydney), Kanna, Wahine, Mararoa, Pateena, Awarua : Westralia (Bluff to Melbourne).
