He stated that he had been forced to Tesign his temporary curacy on a demand made by the vestry in consequence of remark's made by hi*# in a sermon just before Lent, in which he spoke strongly on tho subject of church .reform, urging th;«ft the authorities were not dealing with the matter adequately, and saying that they should take the laity into their confidence.
