MISSING SCOW KAHU

AN UNSUCCESSFUL SEARCH. [Peb. United Peeks Association.] TAURANGA, April 12. The launch which left here on Thursday last in charge of Captain Berridge to search for tho missing scow Kahu returned on Saturday afternoon. The crew made a thorough search of the Alderman and Mercury,lslands and down the coast to Slippers Island, but no trace of the scow or any wreckage was found. • It is surmised that the Kahu foundered j during the recent storm. ■
