Mr Paulin’s forecast: —Strong N\E. to S.E. winds, with rain, especially on East Coast. At the Port Chalmers Court this morning a Maori youth, Robert Teau, pleaded guilty to drunkenness and resisting the police yesterday evening at Portobello. Messrs J. M. Stevenson and N. Dodds were on the bench, and they commented on the regrettable fact that a lad of 20 years should have been supplied with drink, although from his appearance ho might have been deemed to be older. The accused was convicted and diacharged 4 for drunkenness, and for resisting was fined 50a. For Influenza take Woods’ Great Peppermint Cure, la Bd, 2s 9d.—
