WAIROA BOARD’S SCHEME. [Per United Press Association.] WAIROA, April 6. The Jlarbor Board at a special meeting on Monday decided to appoint as a commission, at a fee of 4£ogs, Messrs W. Ferguson, J. Blair Mason, and Cvrus Williams (who are now sitting as a Harbor Commission at Gisborne) to make a joint preliminary report on the Waikoknpu site, and indicate The form in which the new harbor should be constructed. [Waikokupu is midway between Napier and Gisborne, and it is estimated that a depth of 39ft could be obtained for the harbor projected.]
