Tlie Lawn Tennis Association have received a cablegram from the Canadian Tennis Association, withdrawing their challenge for the Davis Gup, also a message from the English Tennis Association stating that if other challengers agree the British Isles will request a redraw, to include Canada and France. Unless this is agreed to the competition is to proceed in accordance with the draw on March 2. WESTRALIA BEAT N.S.W. PERTH, March 30. At tennis Westralia defeated New South Wales by 13 to 12 sets.
