The Monowai, from Auckland and East Coast ports, arrived at Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon, but as she was rochat e for the tide, she remained there until higb water to-day, when she steamed l.p to Dunedin and berthed at the crc.l- - to discharge several hundred tons of general cargo and load for the return voyage. The Monowai will sail on Thursday for Wellington direct, thence to Xtinier, Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay, and Auckland. The auxiliary schooner Houto kft Kaipara on Thursday mornm- last with ;: cargo of timber for Lyttelton. She will afterwards proceed to Port Chalmers, where she will be dry-docked for purvey. 'The Kini, with a. full cargo of coal'for Dunedin, is due diere on Wednesday morning. The Tarawera. left. Sydney at 1 a.m. on Friday for Bluff, where she is due on Wednesday. She is expected to reach Dunedin on Saturday to discharge about 2.C00 tons of general freight. PALOONA LEAVES MELBOURNE. Carrying mails, passengers, and general freight, the Paloona left Melbourne at 5 p.m. on Friday last direct for Bluff, whew she is due on Wednesday. Tho vessel is expected to reach. DuuVdiu on Thursday, and it is hoped to despatch her on Saturday for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Melbourne. MOKOIA DELAYED AT AUCKLAND. The Union Company advise that the Mokoia has been considerably delayed in working cargo at Auckland owing to had weather. She is now expected "to leave the northern pert on Wednesday direct for Wellington. The vessel will leave Wellington on Saturday for Lyttelton, and sail from the Canterbury port on Easter Monday for Wellington, leaving the latter port on April 8 for way ports and Auckland.
