DUXEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. The market was fairly quiet t'sjs »ovning, and only one sale -was recorded, that being in M'Gavins._at 28s, closing with further buyers at 2/s 6d and* a seller at 28s 6d. . In the investment section National Banks are. strong, and £6 14s was offered, but no seller came forward tinder £6 17s 6d. South British Insurance had a. close market, with a .margin of Is 6d between buyer and seller; while P. and O.s came in for inquiry at £SBO, without sellers. X.Z. Refrigerating (eonfc.) are firmer, and were wanted at 29s 2d, but holders asked 4d more. The mining section remains quiet, but firm. Sales on 'Change.—M'Gavin and Co., 28/.
