At, last night' 3 meeting of the Morning, ton School Committee Mr- W. J. Bennett, of the Palmerston District High School, was unanimously recommended for the position of second male, assistant at the school.

Messrs Andrew Hamilton, Eric James Anderson, and Harold Hay Walker were to-day admitted as solicitors of the Supremo Court.
