CHRISTCHURCH, February 17. A suggested method of assisting in the solution of tho housing pi-oblem was brought up by Mr X. A. Frostick at tonight’s meeting of representatives of the Canterbury Industrial Association, Mr Frostick said that it would be quite proper for the association to advocate that the municipalities of the Dominion, especially those in the large centres, should erect, equip, and furnish up-to-date hostels and conduct them under proper conditions. He did not mean immigration barracks, hut in a place where young men and women could live with common dining and music rooms and with separate board' mg accommodation. Members' of the executive spoke in support of the idea.
