SCHOOLS BREAK-UP.

ST. PHILOMENA'S, SOUTH DUNEDIN. _ St. Patrick's School Hall was entirely inadequate to accommodate the large num-ber-of parents and friends who assembled on Thursday evening to witness the annual closing ceremonies in connection with the above" college. Rev. Father Delany presided; there were also present Rev. Father Morkane, Father Graham, and the Christian Brothers. An enjoyable entertainment was given by the students, and the _ performance reflected the highest credit on the thorough training Imparted by the Sisters. After the prizes had been distributed' Father Delany briefly addressed the students, congratulating them on their success, and wished them a merry Christmas.
