There is every indication that peace will shortly be concluded with the Mahsuds on the Indian frontier, as many influential tribesmen have expressed their willingness to accept terms. The campaign proves tho valuo of an air force in frontier warfare. _ A small fight north of Jandola, resulting in the loss of some officers and men, occurred on the 11th inst., .hut this is not expected to affect the situation. An important section of the Mahsuds sent a party in pursuit of the offenders.
