OTAGO YACHT AND MOTOR BOAT CLUB

A meeting of the committee of the above club was field on Monday night, M: W. R. Waters presiding. The Harbor Board wrote stating that steps would be taken to change the whit© lights on certain beacons mentioned by tho club to red lights.—Noted. It was resolved to write the Port Sailing Clpb regarding their members entering 'the club races, and submitting proposals for their consideration, $ Mr J. Angell was appointed to fill a vacancy on the committee. Five new members were elected.

It was resolved to bold the opening day on Saturday next, at 3 p.m., the following to be the order of the procession: Motors: Iniahfreo (Commodore A. 0. Hanlon), Vida (Commodore W. B. Waters), Momona, Siwi, Isabel, Laura, Eureka, Ralloso, Mahara, Matoi, Palmer, Jewel, Nell, Mamaii, Belibird, Imp, Hazel, Water’,vitch, Arawa, Mataraa, Rawhiti, Marguerite, Enarou, Thistle, Katipo, Vanguard, Norah, Eclipse. Yachts; Annis (Vice-Commodore H. E. Moller). Vikiner, May, Violetto. A vast amount of detail business was transacted, and arrangements made for getting out the syllabus right away.
