LICENSING APPEAL ALLOWED
A WIFE’S RESPONSIBILITY. [Per United PhesA Associixrox.J PALMERSTON N.. September 22. At the Supremo Court the appeal of J. Mitchell, licensee of the Occidental Hotel, against his conviction for exposing liquor for sale was uphold. Mr Justice Hosting held there was no evidence that the licensee’s wife had authority to be in the bailor the purpose of selling liquor. The appeal against the conviction was allowed.
