FINED FOR BETTING

CHRISTOHITRCH, September 16. John Ross pleaded guilty in. the Magistrate's Court to-day to two charges of betting on licensed premises. The offences were committed during Grand National week. He was fined £25, in default one month on each charge, the sentences to cumulative.
